From the author’s introduction:
My first version of Baphomet appeared in Volume 1 of Ora et Labora, the research journal of the Grand Lodge of Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) in Australia. It was the result of many years of research, reflection, and meditation on this enduring mystery. Yet, there was also an undeniable sense of immediacy—perhaps even inspiration—behind its creation. True to the spirit of Ora et Labora, the essay was never intended as an academic paper. The journal was a platform for work produced by OTO members that had, until then, remained unpublished or circulated only in limited circles.
This book has been published in both a perfect-bound edition and a hardback edition.
